Public Instruction
We offer 1- to 4-day courses on CART and MARS in both lecture and hands-on computer lab formats. Public courses are offered regularly throughout the year in North America and periodically in Europe and Australia. We expect soon to also offer these courses in conjunction with selected MBA and executive MBA programs in Australia and Asia.
Private On-Site Instruction
Our public courses can be offered on site and tailored to your organization's data and problems. If you prefer, examples can be developed using your own data. Courses can run from 1 to 5 days and include a general introduction to data mining.
E-mail, NetMeeting, and Phone Support from our Offices Worldwide
Our goal is to provide answers to more than 90% of questions within 24 hours. At our headquarters in San Diego, we have half a dozen data mining experts with extensive experience in using our software for real world modelling and analysis. One of these experts will handle your questions and, if necessary, take a close look at your data with you. In the unlikely event that our internal experts cannot answer a question, we will consult with the original authors of CART and MARS. This is a level of expertise unmatched in the industry.
Consultation Services
Salford Systems will work with you in an advisory capacity to organize data mining projects and develop detailed analysis plans, making the expertise that won the KDDCup 2000 data mining competition available for your projects. We will also execute complex data mining projects from start to finish if you prefer to outsource.
